On June 12, 2008, Dj JOuRnEy warmed up the crowd before the drum man ( ?uestlove ) of the World famous Roots crew dazzled the crowd with some good ol' fashion Illadelph style ?uestlovin... If you were there, you know what I'm talking about!!! Black Thought also came through to bless the mic. By far, Black is and will forever be the host with the most. Their performance was like watching the old classic hip-hop flick, Beat Street. 2 turntables and a mic, and one fat MC on the set! It was definitely a monumental night to cover a whole 7 pages in L.A.'s hip-hop diary.
Stay tune World... Theirs more L.A. and World history to be made with this kid Dj Journey... Trust me!
